From Houston, Texas during the ASNT 2023 annual conference, Richard Blaser from Inspenet had the pleasure of interviewing Jerald M. Ewert, CEO and President of JME Technologies, a company that has been at the forefront of innovation in borescope equipment for four decades.
A Tradition in Borescope Inspection
Jerald told us about JME Technologies‘ rich history of providing borescope equipment. “This is our 40th year supplying this equipment and solving inspection problems” he said. Applications are varied, but a popular one is internal inspection of aircraft parts or engines.
Innovation in Sight
At the demonstration, Jerald introduced us to a flexible 3.9-millimeter borescope designed to access and provide a complete inspection of parts, locating cracks or defects. “This device not only makes inspection easier, but it can capture images and video in true HD, providing clarity and accuracy” he explained.
JME’s table was filled with varieties of borescopes, from those with touch capabilities to systems with measuring capabilities. “We offer a wide range of products to meet the needs of our customers” Jerald mentioned.
Vision for the Future
In closing, Jerald emphasized the importance of the visual experience offered by their products. “We appreciate customers coming and seeing our products. It is essential that they inspect it properly and experience it in person” he said, thanking everyone who visited JME’s booth at ASNT.
