From Houston, Texas during the ASNT 2023 annual conference, Richard Blaser from Inspenet had the pleasure of interviewing John Lockhart, Advanced Services Manager Acuren Inspection, who offered a unique perspective on services and his global presence in the world of non-destructive testing.
John, who works in advanced ultrasonic services for the West Gulf Coast with ACUREN, shared with us his vast experience working in different parts of the world, from Nigeria, Qatar and Dubai to India. This year, he plans to return to India and continues his work in different states in the U.S., including the Gulf Coast.
What stands out about ASNT, according to John, is the international nature of the American Society for Nondestructive Testing. Despite being a U.S. society, it attracts professionals from all over the world, and plays a significant role in this global landscape, seeking to harmonize and offer services in a number of multifaceted areas.
John also mentioned his anticipation for the technical talks at the event, especially those presented by the ACUREN SCIENTIFIC team. He is especially excited about the discussions on PCI and TFM capabilities, as well as what’s new in BEAMTOOL.
