During the Women and Tanks event on the first day of ILTA 2024, Michelle Denault gave a few words to the Inspenet team, where she told her experience as a woman in the Oil & Gas industry.
Michelle, is Regulatory Compliance Manager at Delaware Storage & Pipeline Company and she has attended four anual ILTA conferences, highlighted the importance of collaboration and exchange of ideas between women in the industry. “Sometimes you have problems that you can’t solve on your own,” Michelle said. “Being able to leverage other people’s ideas is really helpful.”
Great Changes in the Oil & Gas industry for women
Michelle also noted that the oil and gas industry has changed significantly in recent years, with an increasing number of women in leadership roles. “When I started coming here 15 years ago, you could count the number of women in the room on one hand,” Michelle said. “And look at this room now.”
