Shipping company CMA CGM announced that Japan has received its first container ship powered by LNG (liquefied natural gas), marking a milestone by berthing at the Port of Yokohama for the first time.<\/p>\n\n

The CMA CGM Liberty is a vessel that has a length of 366 meters, a width of 51 meters and has the capacity to transport 14,812 TEU. It was built in 2022, is registered under the Maltese flag and operates on the AXA service connecting China, South Korea, Japan and Mexico.<\/p>\n\n
