Caxxor Group<\/a> announced an investment of USD 718 million for the construction of the Sinaloa Maritime Terminal in Mexico, which will have a strategic location to serve as the closest cargo exit to the east coast of the United States.<\/p>\n\n

According to a report by InfoTransportes, the Sinaloa Maritime Terminal aims to be a new key port for the USMCA North corridor with the eastern United States.<\/p>\n\n

The infrastructure is expected to extend over an approximate area of 400 hectares, and have an offshore dock located about 6 kilometers from the beach and a double-track railway bridge with a length of close to 6 kilometers, which will connect the port and the dock.<\/p>\n\n

The new Sinaloa maritime terminal will have a<\/strong> Specialized Container Terminal<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The terminal will also have a Specialized Container Terminal (TEC), which will allow a fast and safe transfer of cargo between large ships, without the need for major dredging or filling.<\/p>\n\n

The project has an estimated duration of 29 months, from the site preparation stages to construction, and it is estimated that it will have a useful life of 30 years considering its operation and maintenance. However, with proper care, this period may be extended even further.<\/p>\n\n

Sinaloa is located in the region closest to the Pacific on the entire North American coast, making the location of the port of Mazatl\u00e1n, Sinaloa, and its new port terminal of great importance.<\/p>\n\n
