\u201cThe United States came out of nowhere and is now in the lead,\u201d Mark Hutchinson, CEO of Fortescue Future Industries<\/a> , said of the United States’ rise in renewables in general and hydrogen in particular, at the CERAWeek conference<\/a> held location in Houston, Texas this month.<\/p>\n\n US hydrogen production already amounts to about ten million tons per year, about 10% of world volumes.
