Both sectors receive significant demand from China, rising after authorities eased restrictions in Beijing and Shanghai over the weekend.<\/p>\n\n<p>London&#8217;s FTSE 100, heavily weighted by commodities, was up 1.1% after a four-day weekend for Elizabeth II&#8217;s Platinum Jubilee festivities.
