The new owner of Lithium for Mexico will be proposed by the Secretary of Energy and appointed by the President, according to the decree.<\/p>\n\n<p>The ministers of Energy, Finance, Economy, Interior and Environment will form part of the company&#8217;s board of directors.<\/p>\n\n<p>Mexico does not yet have commercial lithium production, although some foreign companies have contracts to explore potential lithium deposits.
