The hydrogen production process from combustion gases does not produce CO 2 emissions.

The technology is supplied in 20- or 40-foot ISO containers and can be pre-assembled in semi-serial production and shipped for installation at the combustion site, H 2 Industries said.

The process provides clean hydrogen bound to Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carriers (LOHCs), organic compounds that can absorb and release hydrogen through chemical reactions. Therefore, LOHCs can be used as a storage medium for hydrogen.

As explained, the only by-product of the process is solid black carbon which can be shipped for export anywhere in the world using ISO container tanks.

Earlier this year, H 2 Industries and naval architecture firm TECHNOLOG Services developed 3D designs for a concept ship that collects plastic waste and converts it into clean hydrogen.

This material from the offshore-energy.biz portal has been edited for clarity, style and length.

Source : https://www.offshore-energy.biz/h2-industries-develops-solution-to-convert-flaring-gas-into-clean-hydrogen/

Photo: ShutterStock

Don’t miss the Inspenet News at: https://inspenet.com/inspenet-tv/

Free translation by: Inspenet, January 2, 2023.
H2 Industries, a hydrogen generation and energy storage solutions company, has developed a solution to convert harmful gases from combustion in the same flare from an oil production field into clean hydrogen and solid carbon.

[13026,13044

post-58209","noticias","type-noticias","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","categoria_noticias-energy","categoria_noticias-new-energies
["GET
