This commercial operation, valued at 290 million euros, represents a reconfiguration of chemical infrastructure in Europe. The assets involved include both the import and storage terminal in Rotterdam and the entity&#8217;s logistics distribution network.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Transfer of Ammonia Assets to AGROFERT<\/h2>\n\n<p>The agreement ensures that AGROFERT takes control of OCI Terminal Europoort and OCI Ammonia Distribution. This maneuver strengthens the acquiring company&#8217;s position as a major <strong><a href=\"\/en\/articles\/mitigacion-corrosion-h\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"articulos\" data-id=\"349463\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">nitrogen products manufacturer<\/a><\/strong> on the continent. The net sale amount remains subject to financial adjustments typical of closing such international contracts.  <\/p>\n\n<p>From an operational perspective, maintaining access to the terminal is essential for sector stability. For this reason, OCI Nitrogen will retain the capacity to use the Rotterdam facilities through a specific supply agreement. This mechanism ensures that the production plant located in Geleen has the necessary flexibility for uninterrupted raw material supply.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Consequently, this strategic divestment enables OCI Global to optimize its asset portfolio while AGROFERT expands its logistics capacity at one of the world&#8217;s most important ports. The transaction complies with current European Union regulatory frameworks on market abuse.
