Execution will commence immediately and the company expects to recognize revenue during the remainder of its fiscal 2026 and in the first half of fiscal 2027.

A contract that comes after the preliminary technical phase

Previously, Tekmar participated in the preliminary technical analysis and design work for the project. This previous work explains why the award has a strategic value for the company: it shows that its offer combines engineering, product development and technical support in the same proposal.

The contract also confirms the importance of integrating in-house capabilities in the early stages of the offshore wind project. In this type of development, the protection of submarine cables is key to safeguard critical assets against mechanical loads, fatigue and demanding offshore installation conditions.

Japan and the offshore wind project

The project also reflects the attractiveness of the Japanese market for offshore technology suppliers. Japan has become a place of interest for companies linked to the offshore energy supply chain, especially in segments such as cable protection, subsea infrastructure and solutions for the operational reliability of wind farms.

Moreover, the award is in line with Tekmar’s growth strategy and its objective to build a diversified order book with multi-year visibility. The company has been strengthening its position in asset protection contracts and offshore energy services in different regions, with a focus on the international expansion of offshore wind.

Tekmar strengthens its engineering and technology proposal

As Richard Turner, CEO of Tekmar Group, explained, this award underscores the value of the company’s integrated engineering and technology offering and its ability to collaborate with clients throughout the project lifecycle. The statement also points to a core aspect of the business: the stability of a sustainable portfolio in an increasingly diversified offshore market.

In parallel, the announcement puts the spotlight back on Tekmar Energy’s specialization in protection systems for subsea cables, umbilicals and flexible pipelines. The firm provides services ranging from initial engineering to detailed design, testing, fabrication, project management, customer training and support during offshore installation.

Source and photo: Tekmar

The company participated in the preliminary technical analysis and design work for the project.

[13026,13046

post-349617","noticias","type-noticias","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","categoria_noticias-energy","categoria_noticias-wind-energy
["GET
