This agreement includes the annual supply of 50 GWh of clean energy sourced from French agricultural areas and represents strong support for decarbonizing France\u2019s gas system. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Plenitude and Methagora agreement formalizes the BPC certificates<\/h2>\n\n<p>The collaboration is governed by France\u2019s <em>Climate and Resilience Law<\/em> through the system of <strong>Biomethane Production<\/strong> Certificates (<em>BPC<\/em>). This regulation encourages suppliers to inject organically sourced gas into the national grid. <\/p>\n\n<p>Likewise, the contract structure allows <strong><a href=\"\/en\/news\/produce-biomethane-from-waste\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"noticias\" data-id=\"189340\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">agricultural producers<\/a><\/strong> to secure the investments needed to modernize their facilities, guaranteeing end users access to certified energy of local origin.<\/p>\n\n<p>Plenitude\u2019s presence supports the management of a portfolio of nearly one million customers in the retail sector. In addition, its infrastructure has 1 GW of installed capacity in renewable sources and continues to expand its electric mobility network. <\/p>\n\n<p>This new volume of renewable gas is part of a global strategy aimed at exceeding 10 GW of green capacity by 2028 and consolidating its role as a leading player in Europe\u2019s energy transition.<\/p>\n\n<p>For its part, Methagora has demonstrated exceptional technical capability by converting existing cogeneration plants into advanced injection units.
