After remaining inactive since 2015, this asset, located in <strong>concession C17<\/strong> about 130 km from Sirte, is once again part of the global supply network. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The restart of operational capacity at the Mabruk field<\/h2>\n\n<p>The deployment of a new production unit with a capacity to process 25,000 barrels per day has been the centerpiece of this phase. Formally launched in May 2024, the project has achieved startup in less than 24 months. <\/p>\n\n<p>Furthermore, the execution aims to align with the low-emission standards that the organization seeks to implement in all its onshore developments. The French firm&#8217;s 37.5% stake in this field adds to a diversified portfolio that includes assets such as <strong>Al Jurf <\/strong>and <strong>El Sharara<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p>Julien Pouget, Senior Vice President of Exploration and Production for the Middle East and North Africa, noted that this action coincides with the company&#8217;s seven-decade history in the country. The current strategy aims for a 3% annual increase in production through the end of the decade. <\/p>\n\n<p>Thus, collaboration with the <strong>National Oil Corporation<\/strong> and other international partners ensures the operational stability necessary for regional energy security.
