This agreement represents the eighth collaboration of this kind between the two corporations. The trust placed in the Singapore technical team makes this project a key pillar of the global expansion strategy for floating power plants.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technical specifications of the FSRU conversion<\/h2>\n\n<p>The vessel selected for this work is the <strong>LNGT Karadeniz<\/strong>, which will undergo a comprehensive refurbishment process to increase its operating capacity. Likewise, the engineering work includes the installation of state-of-the-art regasification modules and specialized mooring systems. <\/p>\n\n<p>Shipyard work is also expected to formally begin during the third quarter of 2026. The main goal of this project is to equip the unit with a <strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/the-el-musel-lng-plant-enagas-receives-authorization-to-start-up\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">regasification capacity<\/a> <\/strong><\/strong>of 600 million standard cubic feet per day. The scope of work also includes integrating automated control systems and upgrading auxiliary services to ensure a steady and safe power supply.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Seatrium\u2019s track record in the offshore sector is strong, with more than twenty successful deliveries of <strong>floating gas terminals<\/strong>. Alvin Gan, head of the company\u2019s repairs division, has stated that this award strengthens the group\u2019s leadership position, having managed the vast majority of these conversions worldwide. <\/p>\n\n<p>Today\u2019s market demands solutions that enable an orderly energy transition, and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/global-natural-gas-demand-to-increase-in-2026-with-lng-boost\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"331294\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">use of liquefied natural gas<\/a><\/strong> is positioned as the ideal bridge. For its part, Karpowership\u2019s management highlights that its partner\u2019s engineering expertise is invaluable to its mission of supplying power in regions with critical supply needs. <\/p>\n\n<p>This new unit will be the first high-capacity FSRU within the <strong>Karpowership fleet<\/strong>, marking a step change in the scale of its international operations.
