In the heart of Atl\u00e1ntico, between Sabanalarga and Usiacur\u00ed, the Atl\u00e1ntico solar park is now operating, a photovoltaic plant<\/a><\/strong> with a capacity of 180 megawatts of alternating current. This project, led by Enel Colombia, is already supplying clean energy to the National Interconnected System. <\/p>\n\n

For its part, ISA ENERG\u00cdA was responsible for building the connection infrastructure that enables its integration into the system. This work included a 3.5-kilometer transmission line, 500 meters of which are underground, thus providing a technical solution that optimizes land use and respects the dynamics of the environment. <\/p>\n\n

Atl\u00e1ntico solar park and energy transition underway<\/h2>\n\n

The plant features over 403,000 solar panels<\/a><\/strong> distributed across 34 sub-fields and is projected to generate approximately 525 gigawatt-hours per year. This renewable energy will strengthen the country’s energy matrix and benefit millions of users. <\/p>\n\n

The project is part of a broader solar complex that also includes Guayepo I, II<\/a><\/strong> and III, consolidating Atl\u00e1ntico as a benchmark in installed solar generation capacity in Colombia. The complex exceeds 730 MWac, positioning it as one of the most significant in Latin America. <\/p>\n\n

Efficient Infrastructure and Innovation in Transmission<\/h2>\n\n

The underground transmission solution implemented by ISA ENERG\u00cdA stands out as a relevant technical contribution. This type of infrastructure not only improves aesthetics and land utilization but also increases operational safety and facilitates maintenance. <\/p>\n\n

With this advancement, Colombia moves closer to the national goal of reaching 6 GW of solar generation defined in the governmental plan. Additionally, it contributes to fulfilling environmental commitments and building a more resilient and sustainable electrical system<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

Regional Development Driven by Clean Energy<\/h2>\n\n

Beyond its energy contribution, the construction of the Atl\u00e1ntico so<\/a>l<\/a>ar park<\/a><\/strong> and its associated infrastructure generated employment and opportunities for local communities. It is estimated that over 70% of the workers involved were people from the region, reinforcing thus the connection between sustainability and development social. <\/p>\n\n

The start of operations of the Atl\u00e1ntico solar park marks a new advance in the country’s energy transition, in an alliance between key players in the electricity sector committed to a cleaner, safer, and more efficient future.<\/p>\n\n
