(ISWCS), following the acquisition of the remaining 49% stake held by Japan&#8217;s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).<\/p>\n\n<p>With this transaction, ISWCS becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of INPEX, strengthening its operational presence in the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) oil project, located in the Caspian Sea off the coast of Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stable Production and Reserves Strategy<\/h2>\n\n<p>For more than two decades, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bp.com\/en_az\/azerbaijan\/home\/who-we-are\/operationsprojects\/acg2.html\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.bp.com\/en_az\/azerbaijan\/home\/who-we-are\/operationsprojects\/acg2.html\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ACG<\/a><\/strong> has been a consistent source of production and cash flow for INPEX. This operation seeks to consolidate the strategic benefits derived from its participation in one of the region&#8217;s most significant offshore fields. <\/p>\n\n<p>Furthermore, the acquisition responds to the company&#8217;s efforts to secure proven reserves and maintain stable extraction levels.
