By 2025, Petrobras<\/a><\/strong> consolidated a dominant position in the energy sector by reaching a total production of 2.99 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed)<\/strong>, representing an 11% increase over 2024. This performance not only exceeded the upper limit of its annual target, but was mainly driven by the expansion of operations in the Brazilian pre-salt. <\/p>\n\n

Sustained growth with a focus on efficiency<\/h2>\n\n

The productive progress was reinforced by the expansion of the operating capacity of FPSO platforms such as Almirante Tamandar\u00e9 and Marechal Duque de Caxias, in addition to efficiency improvements in the Santos Basin. The connection of 77 wells in offshore operations, and the entry into production of 44 new wells, consolidated a qualitative leap in the extractive infrastructure. <\/p>\n\n

In total, the production operated by Petrobras reached 4.32 million boed<\/strong>, while production in the pre-salt reached 2.45 million boed<\/strong> nationwide, ratifying this region as the company’s central growth axis. The Associated Gas Utilization Index (IUGA) reached 97.7%, confirming the optimization of the use of the energy resource. <\/p>\n\n

Petrobras strengthens reserves and exports<\/h2>\n\n

The strengthening of the portfolio was reflected in the addition of 1.7 billion barrels of oil equivalent (boe)<\/strong> to reserves, marking a replacement rate of 175%<\/strong>, the highest in the last ten years. The R\/P indicator reached 12.5 years, guaranteeing long-term sustainability. <\/p>\n\n

In parallel, crude oil exports reached 765 thousand barrels per day<\/strong>, a new annual high, driven by 354 ship-to-ship (STS) operations and strengthened logistics at terminals such as Angra dos Reis and S\u00e3o Lu\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n

Refining and sustainable fuels<\/h2>\n\n

Petrobras also reported significant progress in its refinery fleet. With a utilization factor of 91%<\/strong>, production records were achieved in S10 diesel and gasoline in units such as REFAP, REGAP, and REPAR. The company also made its first deliveries of sustainable aviation fuel. sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) certified under<\/a> <\/strong>(SAF) certified under ICAO standards, with a volume of 3,000 m\u00b3 destined for Tom Jobim International Airport. <\/p>\n\n

In the domestic market, sales of refined products reached 1,747 thousand barrels per day<\/strong>, an increase of 1.6%, led by the growth in the consumption of diesel, gasoline and gasoline.<\/p>\n\n

With these results, Petrobras strengthens its profile as Latin America’s energy leader, underpinning a strategy of operational efficiency, product diversification, and international expansion.<\/p>\n\n
