Nauticus Robotics, the U.S. firm specialized in offshore robotics<\/a><\/strong>has confirmed the signing of an agreement with the UAE-based Master Investment Group to boost its international growth. The agreement calls for a total investment of up to $50 million that will enable Nauticus to establish an operating unit in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), focused on the production of its automated systems<\/a>n<\/a>omos<\/a><\/strong> for offshore operations. <\/p>\n\n

The first tranche of the financing, US$3 million, will be used to create a legal entity in the country and to identify the site where the future manufacturing center will be located. The remainder of the capital will be deployed as the project progresses. <\/p>\n\n

A center to scale offshore robotics in the region<\/h2>\n\n

New regional hub will serve as manufacturing, testing, sales and support services platform for subsea vehicle fleet Aquanaut<\/strong><\/a>developed by Nauticus. The transaction is currently pending regulatory approvals, but operations are expected to commence within this fiscal year.<\/p>\n\n
