The discovery was made in the context of development operations on the Talisker well, which has been active since January 11, 2026. Currently, the licensees-OKEA, Lime Petroleum, DNO, Petrolia NOCO and M Vest Energy-are evaluating opportunities to incorporate Knockando Fensfjord into existing production schemes at Brage. <\/p>\n\n

Brage has been a key facility in the region since its approval in 1990, with a history of recent discoveries such as Talisker Cook\/Statfjord<\/a><\/strong> in 2025 and Prince in the 31\/4-A-23 G well.<\/p>\n\n

Technically, drilling reached 2,309 meters vertical depth, terminating in the Middle Jurassic Oseberg Formation. Data were collected during the discovery interval for subsequent geological analysis. <\/p>\n\n
