These supplies will be transported through the <strong>Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP)<\/strong>, the European section of the <strong>Southern Gas Corridor<\/strong>, one of the main energy infrastructures connecting the Caspian region with the European continent. <\/p>\n\n<p>Starting this January 2026, Azerbaijani gas will begin to be supplied, among other destinations, to <strong>Austria and Germany<\/strong>, significantly expanding Azerbaijan&#8217;s presence in important Central European energy markets.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Expanding the reach of Azerbaijani gas in Europe<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Gas supplies to Austria and Germany will be routed <strong>through Italy<\/strong>, reinforcing TAP&#8217;s role as a strategic corridor for transporting natural gas to Europe.
