This financing is designed to support direct investments in sustainable electricity infrastructure by ensuring that the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/fortescue-installs-large-scale-energy-storage-system-in-pilbara\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"318602\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">transmission system<\/a><\/strong> system adequately responds to the demands of the changing energy system. <\/p>\n\n<p>The funds will be used to expand and modernize high-performance substations within the 50Hertz operating area. These infrastructures must be adapted with technologies that guarantee system stability and allow efficient connection of wind and solar energy on a large scale. <\/p>\n\n<p>This green loan adds to a series of financial instruments implemented by Eurogrid during the year, including green bonds and a commercial paper program.
