The buyer is the investment firm Asterion Industrial Partners, which specializes in critical infrastructure in Europe. This transaction values the portfolio at €508 million, equivalent to approximately €1.2 million per MW installed.

Shared structure with operational focus in the hands of TotalEnergies

Despite the transaction, TotalEnergies retains a 50% interest and will continue to operate the assets. In addition, it will be responsible for marketing a large part of the electricity generated once the projects no longer benefit from regulated tariffs. This model allows the company to optimize the value of its portfolio without losing operational control.

The sale is in line with TotalEnergies’ strategic focus on combining renewable assets with flexible solutions such as storage and gas turbines. gas turbines. To balance risk and return, the company divests up to 50% of its assets, reinvesting the proceeds in new opportunities.

Greece as a key point of its European renewable plan

The portfolio includes solar photovoltaic projects and onshore wind farms in different regions of Greece. This transaction strengthens TotalEnergies’ presence in southern Europe, where it is committed to accelerated growth in clean energy.

Asterion Industrial Partners consolidates its position as a key financial partner in the renewables sector. With this acquisition, the firm strengthens its commitment to sustainable energy infrastructures with a long-term, industrial value-oriented approach.

Source: TotalEnergies

Photo: Shutterstock

TotalEnergies retains operational control after divesting 50% of 424 MW of renewables to Asterion.

[13026,13044

post-327899","noticias","type-noticias","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","categoria_noticias-energy","categoria_noticias-new-energies
["GET
