Highlights include hole <strong>DSDD574<\/strong>, which intercepted <strong>1.7 grams per tonne (g\/t) gold over 29.6 meters<\/strong>, and a second section with <strong>2.0 g\/t over 20.0 meters.<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n<p>The discovery is part of an active campaign that already totals <strong>63 wells drilled<\/strong>, with more than <strong>9,600 meters of exploration<\/strong> underway. According to the company, this data will be crucial for the next resource estimate, scheduled for the <strong>first quarter of 2026<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Move towards feasibility with solid foundations<\/h2>\n\n<p>The <strong>Diamba Sud project<\/strong> is in the preliminary economic assessment (PEA) stage and has attractive financial indicators. Fortuna estimates an after-tax net present value (NPV) of <strong>US$563 million<\/strong> and an <strong>internal rate of return (IRR) of 72%<\/strong>, calculated with a gold price of <strong>US$2,750 per ounce<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p>The company plans to move towards a <strong>feasibility study in the coming months<\/strong>, with a view to a <strong>construction decision in the second quarter of 2026<\/strong>. These latest drilling results reinforce the potential of the South Arc as a growth hub within the asset. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Additional reservoir intercepts<\/h2>\n\n<p>In addition to DSDD574, other wells revealed significant grades:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>DSDD555:<\/strong> 6.8 g\/t gold over 35.5 meters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>DSDD558:<\/strong> 8.8 g\/t gold over 14.4 meters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>DSDD563:<\/strong> 5.8 g\/t gold over 20.8 meters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>DSDD584:<\/strong> 5.5 g\/t gold on 17 meters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>These intercepts add to a drilling network that is actively expanding to the southwest, east and south of the Southern Arc, where mineralization <strong>remains open<\/strong> in multiple directions and at depth.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">West Africa, Fortuna&#8217;s strategy<\/h2>\n\n<p>These results come at a time when <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/accident-at-seguela-gold-mine-leaves-one-worker-dead\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fortuna<\/a><\/strong> is redirecting its strategy towards <strong>mid-tier gold assets in West Africa<\/strong>, having exited operations in Mexico and Burkina Faso.
