The event took place at the <strong>COSCO Qidong<\/strong> shipyard in China, where the hull was erected and completed in just four months. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">An efficient and safe process in record time<\/h2>\n\n<p>Thanks to the coordination between Cadeler&#8217;s team, COSCO, certification body <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/deltamarin-strengthens-its-leadership-in-marine-design-with-five-key-approvals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DNV<\/a><\/strong> and more than 1,000 skilled workers, the project has accumulated more than <strong>2.9 million working hours without incident<\/strong>, which represents an achievement in terms of industrial safety.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Wind Ace structure was completed entirely in dry dock, reflecting the shipyard&#8217;s ability to handle highly complex technical constructions in tight time frames.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What&#8217;s next for the Wind Ace vessel?<\/h2>\n\n<p>The vessel is scheduled to have the remaining sections of its legs installed, in addition to the <strong>main crane<\/strong> and essential commissioning systems. The vessel will be <strong>delivered in 2026<\/strong> and will be integrated into Cadeler&#8217;s operations in Europe and Asia, expanding its capacity to install new-generation offshore wind turbines. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A strategic piece for the energy transition<\/h2>\n\n<p>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cadeler.com\/vessels\/wind-ace\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wind Ace<\/a><\/strong> has been designed to operate the largest wind turbine models on the market and optimize installation times in large-scale projects.
