Until then, the vessel will continue to serve as a specialized <strong>submarine cable-laying<\/strong> platform, a role it has performed under the management of <strong>Global Marine Group <\/strong>in many regions of the world. <\/p>\n\n<p>The transaction represents a profit of approximately US$10 million for <em>Solstad Maritime<\/em>, which will be reflected in its financial results for the second quarter of 2026. The sale comes in the context of a restructuring of assets within the Norwegian company&#8217;s offshore portfolio. <\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>Normand Clipper<\/strong> was built in 2001, with a large capacity adapted for subsea infrastructure installation operations. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/solstad-to-operate-normand-commander-for-petrobras-in-brazil\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">installation of subsea infrastructure<\/a><\/strong>.
