This event took place ahead of schedule, demonstrating the efficiency in the execution of the project. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scarabeo 5 unit advances in Congo LNG Phase 2<\/h2>\n\n<p><em>Saipem <\/em>completed its complex transformation into a fully integrated<strong> floating production unit<\/strong><em>(FPU<\/em>) that will handle gas processing, separation and compression. The conversion of this platform into a <g id=\"gid_3\">gas processing unit<\/g> mentions a clear application of the circular energy economy, which prioritizes industrial reuse. It also integrates advanced technologies for decarbonization into its operations.  <\/p>\n\n<p>This development seeks to ensure a stable energy supply. Saipem&#8217;s experience in fast-track projects has made it possible to reduce the time to market for LNG. <g id=\"gid_0\"><g id=\"gid_1\">LNG commercialization time.<\/g><\/g>. The <em>Scarabeo 5 unit<\/em> anchored at the site will feed the second floating natural gas liquefaction plant, which is part of <strong>Congo LNG Phase 2.<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n<p>Consequently, the focus is on the beginning of 2026. The first <strong>LNG cargo<\/strong> for export is expected by that date. This energy development in Africa will boost Congo&#8217;s ability to position itself in the global gas market.
