As announced, engineering and project management will begin immediately at Subsea7&#8217;s Aberdeen office, with offshore activities <strong>commencing in the second quarter of 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Importance of the agreement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For Subsea7 it is a contract that enables them to <strong>demonstrate their expertise<\/strong> in a market segment that is growing as many <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/aker-bp-assumes-lead-role-in-kjottkake-field-development-following-agreement-with-dno\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">North Sea oil fields<\/a><\/strong> are aging.
