The <em>OSH-SURE<\/em> program is the result of years of work from the <strong>Self-OSHWA framework<\/strong>, promoted since 2018 by DOSH and its technical allies. <\/p>\n\n<p>This new approach provides a more robust structure for <strong>safety self-assessment<\/strong>, competency certification and ongoing training of <strong>Occupational Safety and Health<\/strong><em>(OSH<\/em>) <strong>Coordinators<\/strong>. During the ceremony, <strong>Velesto Academy<\/strong> was officially recognized as an accredited training center for these technical profiles in the industry. <\/p>\n\n<p>According to Megat Zariman Abdul Rahim, chairman of Velesto, the program represents a synergy between public standards and private sector capabilities, with the aim of raising security competencies across the country. &#8220;<em>With this collaboration, we reinforce our commitment to a strong preventive culture and capacity building at all levels of the operational ecosystem<\/em>,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n\n<p>The OSH-SURE framework is not limited to being a single, static initiative. It is conceived as an evolving tool that will be constantly updated based on feedback from the field and dialogue with strategic industry stakeholders.
