This distinction was endorsed by organizations such as <strong>WWF<\/strong>, which endorses the positive environmental impact of the project and its real contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Payita 1 solar plant project<\/h2>\n\n<p>With an installed capacity of 60 MWp, the <strong>Payita 1 plant <\/strong>is designed to generate up to 127 GWh of renewable energy annually, avoiding the emission of approximately 91,000 tons of CO\u2082 each year. The facility operates under strict quality, transparency and traceability criteria, validated by <strong>Offcarbon<\/strong>, a firm specialized in verifying sustainable projects. <\/p>\n\n<p>This validation recognizes <em>Payita 1<\/em> as a facility with the capacity to generate high-integrity carbon credits, integrating it into international carbon offset markets and strengthening the region&#8217;s energy security.<\/p>\n\n<p>The company had already achieved the issuance of carbon credits with the <strong>Cumayasa 1<\/strong> and <strong>2<\/strong> <strong>plants<\/strong>, also in the Dominican Republic.
