The plan includes <strong>the construction of a new industrial park<\/strong> valued at BRL 900 million, in addition to the expansion of its production unit in <strong>Jaragu\u00e1 do Sul<\/strong>, with an additional budget of BRL 160 million. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Large-scale production and more technological sophistication<\/h2>\n\n<p>The new industrial complex will be oriented to the manufacture of <strong>high-performance equipment<\/strong>, such as synchronous compensators up to 330 MVAr, turbogenerators up to 200 MVA and high-speed induction motors. With this infrastructure, WEG will be able to expand its service capacity for services related to motors, generators, and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/articulo\/hydraulic-turbines-fundamentals-principles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hydraulic turbines<\/a><\/strong> up to <strong>300 MVA<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p>The strategic location of the new park considers the proximity to the technical equipment of Jaragu\u00e1 do Sul, the availability of skilled labor and the logistics infrastructure with direct access to highways <strong>BR-101 and BR-280<\/strong>, as well as to the main ports of Santa Catarina.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WEG Energ\u00eda: long-term strategy and vision<\/h2>\n\n<p>The project also includes the creation of <strong>approximately 1,000 direct jobs<\/strong>, representing a significant boost to the region&#8217;s economic development, while reinforcing the company&#8217;s commitment to innovation, operational efficiency and its competitiveness on the global stage.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The construction of the new plant will allow us to meet the opportunities identified in the market for large machines, advancing in the production of equipment with higher power ratings than those currently produced, in addition to optimizing processes and reducing operating costs.<\/p>\n<cite>Jo\u00e3o Paulo Gualberto da Silva, Superintendent Director of the WEG Energy Unit.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jaragu\u00e1 do Sul continues to expand<\/h2>\n\n<p>As part of the same investment package, the company will allocate <strong>BRL 160 million<\/strong> to the expansion of its current WEG Energia plant in Jaragu\u00e1 do Sul.
