The facility, located at the Khavda renewable complex in Gujarat, <strong>will reach 1126 megawatts of capacity and will be able to store up to 3530 MWh<\/strong>, enabling it to deliver continuous power during peak demand of up to three hours. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Battery project to ensure stability and efficiency<\/h2>\n\n<p>This infrastructure, based on lithium-ion <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/scientists-make-lithium-batteries-that-breathe-co2-more-efficient-and-sustainable\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/baterias-de-litio-co2-catalizador-economico\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lithium-ion batteries<\/a><\/strong> and advanced energy management systems, responds to the need for a more stable, reliable and efficient power grid. By releasing energy during times of peak demand and storing the surplus generated by renewable sources, <strong>the BESS system will help reduce grid congestion<\/strong> and minimize the loss of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/arena-funds-25-3-million-for-sundrives-copper-solar-technology\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/sundrive-fabricar-celulas-solares-de-cobre\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">unused solar<\/a><\/strong> unused solar energy. <\/p>\n\n<p>Integrated into what is already the largest renewable energy park in the world, the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/apatura-reaches-2-gw-with-new-560-mw-bess-system-in-scotland\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/compania-aprobacion-nuevo-sistema-bess\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">BESS system<\/a> <\/strong>system represents a key building block on India&#8217;s path to energy independence. It is scheduled to be operational by March 2026, aligned with the country&#8217;s net-zero emissions targets and sustainable electrification strategy. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Large-scale ambitions and global leadership<\/h2>\n\n<p>From this base, Adani plans to expand its storage capacity <strong>to 15 GWh by fiscal 2027<\/strong> and to reach 50 GWh within five years. This roadmap positions the group not only as a national pioneer, but also as a relevant player in the global clean energy infrastructure. <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Energy storage is essential for the renewables-driven future.
