Norwegian operator Aker BP will strengthen its presence in the North Sea through an asset swap agreement with DNO ASA. This strategic move will allow it to take over the operation of the Kj\u00f8ttkake field during its development phase and consolidate its position in the Alvheim area. <\/p>\n\n
With this move, Aker BP enhances its position in several key licenses, including the producing Vilje field and the Kveikje discovery. In turn, the company will take over management of the Kj\u00f8ttkake field, a decision that reflects its ability to execute projects nimbly and efficiently.
