This move marks the beginning of its <strong>return to Vietnam<\/strong>, after successfully completing the first phase of technical reactivation in Europe. <\/p>\n\n<p>During September and October, a technical team from PV Drilling based in Denmark conducted a series of inspections and tests to verify <strong>compliance with American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) standards<\/strong>. Systems reviewed included engines, generators, safety systems, cranes and hoisting mechanisms, <strong>exceeding technical controls<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stopover in Rotterdam and next preparation phase<\/h2>\n\n<p>As scheduled, PV DRILLING IX will arrive at the port of Rotterdam on <strong>November 3<\/strong> to be loaded onto a heavy transport vessel. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/heavy-lift-vessel-for-your-first-trip\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">specialized heavy lift vessel and from there<\/a><\/strong> and from there to Vietnam, where it is expected to arrive at the <strong>end of December 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>second reactivation phase<\/strong> will be carried out in Vietnamese territory, focusing on final adjustments before joining the <strong>first drilling campaign scheduled for April 2026<\/strong>. This operation will be fundamental to strengthen PV Drilling&#8217;s operational capacity, especially in a regional market that demands advanced technical solutions. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Platform details<\/h2>\n\n<p>Designed by Friede Goldman under the 2000E model, the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pvdrilling.com.vn\/en-US\/pv-drilling-ix\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PV DRILLING IX<\/a><\/strong>formerly known as <strong>Noble Highlander<\/strong>, is one of the <strong>most widely used<\/strong> self-elevating rigs <strong>in international offshore operations<\/strong>. It is equipped with the NOV BLM automated lifting system, which allows it to drill up to 30,000 feet and operate in water depths of up to 425 feet. <\/p>\n\n<p>Thanks to its robust engineering, this unit is prepared for long duration drilling campaigns, especially in environments with complex geological structures such as the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/new-north-sea-oil-discovery\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">North Sea<\/a><\/strong>Middle East and Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PV Drilling strengthens its fleet for 2026<\/h2>\n\n<p>With the reinstatement of the PV DRILLING IX, PV Drilling seeks to consolidate its leadership in the offshore drilling services industry. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/articulo\/drilling-techniques-for-oil-extraction\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">offshore drilling<\/a><\/strong> in the region.
