The achievement surpasses the last record of the field, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/petrobras-celebrates-record-offshore-production-with-the-arrival-of-the-fpso-almirante-tamandare\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/petrobras-record-en-produccion-de-petroleo\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">registered in August<\/a><\/strong> <strong>with 900 thousand barrels per day<\/strong>, and consolidates B\u00fazios as the second asset of the Brazilian state-owned company to surpass the one million mark, after Tupi. <\/p>\n\n<p>Due to its location at a depth of more than 2,000 meters on the seabed, and the quality of the light crude oil it produces, B\u00fazios is a technical benchmark in offshore exploitation. The field <g id=\"gid_0\">was discovered in 2010 and came into production in 2018.<\/g> It currently has six platforms in operation: P-74, P-75, P-76, P-77, Almirante Barroso and <g id=\"gid_1\"><g id=\"gid_2\">Almirante Tamandar\u00e9<\/g><\/g>. It is expected that before the end of the year the P-78 unit will be added to the productive set.   <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>When we were told it was impossible, we did it. Today 80% of our production comes from the pre-salt, with two giant fields: B\u00fazios and Tupi. We continue to promote knowledge and energy for Brazil.  <\/p>\n<cite>said Magda Chambriard, president of Petrobras.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Innovation and partnerships drive energy development<\/h2>\n\n<p>The B\u00fazios 7 project, which integrates subsea infrastructure such as pipelines and wells, was recently honored at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Brazil. Among the innovations recognized are the closed flare, which reduces emissions, and the heat recovery system that optimizes energy consumption. <\/p>\n\n<p>Petrobras is leading this development in consortium with Chinese companies CNOOC and CNPC, in addition to the state-owned PPSA.
