FlowHeat allows power cables to be installed downstream of the pipeline or integrated into coiled tubing systems, significantly simplifying the process. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Less consumption, more range and lower emissions with FlowHeat<\/h2>\n\n<p>FlowHeat&#8217;s patented design offers less complex installation and a lighter weight structure, reducing the use of large vessels and allowing operation with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/louis-dreyfus-armateurs-and-madfly-deploy-rovs-for-offshore-operations-in-open-sea-conditions\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/companias-implementan-rov-en-aguas-abiertas\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ROVs<\/a><\/strong> more compact ROVs. This configuration contributes to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/deepocean_deepocean-has-joined-forces-with-totalenergies-activity-7386326822193381376-VLiA?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=member_desktop&amp;rcm=ACoAAEKYikgBjygh5GpRtttit6tTS7TQvMcSdSs\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/deepocean_deepocean-has-joined-forces-with-totalenergies-activity-7386326822193381376-VLiA?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=member_desktop&amp;rcm=ACoAAEKYikgBjygh5GpRtttit6tTS7TQvMcSdSs\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a 30% reduction in carbon emissions<\/a><\/strong> emissions and up to 35% reduction in installation costs. <\/p>\n\n<p>The technology <strong>is designed to operate over distances of up to 30 km<\/strong>, with the potential to extend to 50 km, and at depths of up to 3000 meters. In addition, the system is repairable and features <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/video-tv\/bsi-real-time-corrosion-monitoring-ampp\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/video-tv\/bsi-monitoreo-de-corrosion-tiempo-real-ampp\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">real-time monitoring<\/a><\/strong> through fiber optics. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Specialized cooperation for real applications<\/h2>\n\n<p>Each company contributes a key role in the FlowHeat value chain: DeepOcean leads project management and engineering; Tenaris contributes with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/articulo\/innovation-in-anticorrosive-coatings\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/articulo\/innovacion-en-recubrimientos-anticorrosivos\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">thermal coating solutions;<\/a><\/strong> LS Cable &amp; System supplies subsea power and communication cables; while TotalEnergies, Equinor and Aker BP contribute operational expertise, infrastructure and investment capacity for validations.<\/p>\n\n<p>The project <strong>is supported by the Norwegian Research Council<\/strong> for pilot testing under real conditions. Initial tests have already demonstrated reliable installation over rough terrain and high electrical efficiency. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">International adoption perspective<\/h2>\n\n<p>The demand for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/hyting-solution-the-hydrogen-heating-solution\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/hyting-solucion-la-calefaccion-por-hidrogeno\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">efficient seabed heating<\/a><\/strong> efficient seabed heating technologies is growing. On the Norwegian Continental Shelf alone, multiple subsea connections are projected for the coming years.
