The event was generated after an interruption in the power supply at the Miguel Hidalgo refinery on Saturday night, October 11. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Response to hydrocarbons in Tula River<\/h2>\n\n<p>As part of its immediate response, Pemex implemented the Emergency Response Plan (ERP), in collaboration with the Fire Department and the municipal Civil Protection Unit. The main objective <strong>was to contain and recover the contaminant mixture<\/strong> to mitigate any impact on the river ecosystem. <\/p>\n\n<p>So far, authorities have confirmed that there is no health risk to the nearby population. Pemex has maintained constant monitoring of water quality in the affected area, assuring that contamination levels are under control. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Transparency in official communication<\/h2>\n\n<p>Throughout the process, Pemex has kept federal and state authorities informed, ensuring transparency in communication about the incident. The company reiterated its commitment to mitigating environmental effects and continuously improving its operating processes. <\/p>\n\n<p>The refinery <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Refiner%C3%ADa_Miguel_Hidalgo\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Refiner%C3%ADa_Miguel_Hidalgo\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Miguel Hidalgo<\/a>\n<\/strong>refinery, one of the most important in the country, has been the object of attention on previous occasions due to similar situations.
