{"id":306953,"date":"2025-10-14T16:41:01","date_gmt":"2025-10-14T20:41:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/sanmar-delivers-to-ultratug-the-tug-ut-patzcuaro\/"},"modified":"2025-10-14T16:57:53","modified_gmt":"2025-10-14T20:57:53","slug":"sanmar-delivers-to-ultratug-the-tug-ut-patzcuaro","status":"publish","type":"noticias","link":"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/sanmar-delivers-to-ultratug-the-tug-ut-patzcuaro\/","title":{"rendered":"Sanmar delivers to Ultratug the tug UT Patzcuaro"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Sanmar Shipyards, one of the world&#8217;s leading shipyards specializing in tugboat construction, celebrated the delivery of the <strong>tug UT Patzcuaro<\/strong> to Ultratug, a maritime services operator with a broad presence in Latin America, on October 6 in Altinova, Turkey.<\/p>\n\n<p>Although both companies have had a business relationship for more than two decades, this is the <strong>first time that Sanmar has built a tugboat specifically for Ultratug<\/strong>, formalizing the relationship between the two companies in the industrial field.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Characteristics of the tug UT Patzcuaro<\/h2>\n\n<p>The UT Patzcuaro is a <strong>RAmparts 2400SX-MKII<\/strong> model, designed by the renowned naval architecture firm <strong>Robert Allan Ltd.<\/strong> With a length of 24.4 meters, a beam of 12 meters and a draft of 5.45 meters, this tug has a length of 24.4 meters, a beam of 12 meters and a draft of 5.45 meters. <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/med-marine-delivers-powerful-harbor-tug-to-remolcanosa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">harbor tug<\/a>\n<\/strong> offers a pulling force of <strong>75 tons<\/strong> and reaches a speed of up to <strong>12.5 knots<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>It is powered by <strong>Caterpillar 3516E<\/strong> main engines, which meet the stringent <strong>IMO Tier III emissions standard<\/strong>, thanks to a Caterpillar SCR aftertreatment system that drastically reduces nitrogen oxides.
