Eni Indonesia has opted to continue its exploration operations in Southeast Asia<\/strong>, confirming the exercise of the second optional well contemplated in its contract with Ventura Offshore Holding Ltd. This is the second of four optional clauses in the original contract and will increase the revenues generated by the platform to approximately US$10<\/strong> million. \n SSV Catarina<\/a>\n<\/strong> for the drilling service of the second optional well for Eni.<\/p>\n\n

Designed for demanding conditions, the semi-submersible \n semi-submersible platform<\/a>\n<\/strong> SSV Catarina is part of a specialized fleet that Ventura Offshore has successfully deployed in markets such as Brazil and Indonesia<\/strong>. The semisubmersible unit is capable of operating in ultra-deep water<\/strong> and has a high adaptability to complex drilling environments, which is why oil company Eni chose it for its operations. <\/p>\n\n
