The agreement will have a duration of five years and will supply around 50% of the annual electricity consumption of the steel industry in Spain, with energy from solar and wind power plants. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solar and wind power plants in the steel industry<\/h2>\n\n<p>The contract has been developed on the basis of <em>Statkraft <\/em>&#8216;s renewable generation portfolio in Spain. This energy is purchased by <em>Fortia Energ\u00eda<\/em>, which channels it to other companies under stable tariff conditions.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Network Steel, with seven plants in the Iberian Peninsula and an annual production of close to one million tons of steel, thus ensures a stable energy supply for its customers. <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/statkraft-moves-forward-with-its-first-solar-wind-hybrid-project-in-spain\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"276931\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">stable energy supply.<\/a>\n<\/strong>. This agreement strengthens its position as a player committed to sustainability and reinforces its operational capacity in a highly competitive market. <\/p>\n\n<p>Since its creation in 2007, Fortia Energ\u00eda has worked as a demand aggregator for large industrial consumers. Today it is the largest independent supplier in the Iberian market, with more than 150 industrial sites under its energy management. <\/p>\n\n<p>As Europe&#8217;s largest renewable energy producer, Statkraft continues to expand its influence in the Spanish industrial sector.
