The need to address deep wellbores and extended laterals motivated Caturus to seek a superior technical solution. The choice of the X33 rig meets the challenges with: a million-pound mast, three 2,000-horsepower mud pumps and the ability to reach up to 35,000 feet deep.

The integration of Dynamic Gas Blending (DGB) technology allows you to partially replace diesel with natural gas in your operations. This reduces the
 consumption of more polluting fuels
This reduces the consumption of more polluting fuels and, at the same time, the carbon intensity of each well drilled, in line with the energy transition objectives of both companies.

The partnership between Caturus Energy and Nabors Industries stands out for integrating operational capabilities with advanced automation technology.
 advanced automation technology
. The rig is equipped with digital control systems and real-time monitoring, which improves operational efficiency and allows for more accurate decision making during critical stages of drilling.

According to Eric Kolstad, executive vice president of wells at Caturus, this technology will help maintain the company’s disciplined approach and achieve its goal of reaching 1 billion cubic feet equivalent per day by 2029.

The X33 platform is operational and is expected to set a new benchmark in terms of safety, efficiency and sustainability within the industry. Nabors Industries, with a presence in more than 20 countries, brings its expertise in process digitalization and pressure control in complex wells, consolidating a synergy that could influence future developments in the natural gas industry in North America.

Source and photo: Nabors

New PACE-X Ultra X33 technology is installed in South Texas to boost natural gas production under high-pressure conditions.

[13026,13036

post-301899","noticias","type-noticias","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","categoria_noticias-energy","categoria_noticias-oil-and-gas
["GET
