On September 2, SANY Robotics<\/strong> delivered 40 electric forklifts<\/strong> to a customer in Qatar to operate in the Abu Samra logistics project. This shipment is an important order for the Middle East, which seeks to increase efficiency and productivity. <\/p>\n\n

The new industry standard with electric forklift trucks<\/h2>\n\n

The 300 V high-voltage platform<\/strong> integrates automotive-grade batteries, motor and control with the VCU. In other words, this vehicle can match and even surpass diesel equipment in starting and thrust. In addition, the full-load gradeability stands at 25% and the charging scheme allows 1 hour of connection for 8 hours of continuous operation. <\/p>\n\n

The central systems are IP67<\/em> rated and have a liquid cooling system<\/em>. These features ensure continuity in ports, factories, chemical plants and cold chain logistics where heat, humidity and dust are present. It is a package designed for long shifts with minimal changes in operational layout <\/em>. <\/p>\n\n

On the other hand, he explained that the roadmap includes autonomous driving<\/a> and AI<\/strong> to create a storage, handling, sorting and loading ecosystem with a lower carbon footprint. Onboard intelligence enables navigation, perimeter security, and coordination with TMS and WMS. <\/p>\n\n

He also reported that SANY’<\/a><\/strong> s electric forklifts<\/strong> are present in more than 50 countries and in more than 40 demanding operating sites. In the first half of 2025, SANY Heavy Industry<\/strong> allocated nearly $300 million to R&D, a figure that exceeds 5% of its revenues. With this investment, the company seeks to accelerate the modernization of its products and solutions. <\/p>\n\n

Finally, he pointed out that the deployment in Abu Samra strengthens the transition to green logistics on the Qatar-Saudi border. For operators, the critical vectors are lower energy cost per cycle, reduced platform noise and plannable autonomy with defined loading windows. <\/p>\n\n
