The vessel was completed at its headquarters and represents a new breakthrough in technical design and environmental efficiency in container shipping. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Characteristics of the MAERSK NOTODDEN<\/h2>\n\n<p>With a length of almost 172 meters and a beam of 32 meters, this new vessel is equipped to operate in ports with limited infrastructure. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/corpus-christi-canal-expansion-reinforces-energy-leadership\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/el-puerto-de-corpus-christi-amplia-su-canal\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ports with limited infrastructure<\/a><\/strong> infrastructure, thanks to its three deck cranes. It is also <strong>prepared to transport materials regulated<\/strong> by the IMDG Code. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.imo.org\/en\/ourwork\/safety\/pages\/dangerousgoods-default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.imo.org\/en\/ourwork\/safety\/pages\/dangerousgoods-default.aspx\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IMDG Code<\/a><\/strong> and has systems for cargo refrigeration both in the hold and on deck. <\/p>\n\n<p>In terms of sustainability, the container carrier incorporates high-efficiency propellers, energy-saving additives and anti-friction coatings that optimize fuel consumption. These elements enable it to meet the latest EEDI standards, which are key to reducing emissions per ton transported. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Regulatory compliance and technological advancement<\/h2>\n\n<p>To comply with international emissions regulations, the vessel is equipped with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/wingds-innovative-nox-reduction-technology-in-engines-will-enter-the-market\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/la-reduccion-de-nox-en-motor-de-wingd\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">oxides of nitrogen reduction technologies, including EGR and SCR systems.<\/a><\/strong>including EGR and SCR systems.
