The skies over California witnessed a watershed moment for personal aviation: Jetson completed the inaugural delivery of its Jetson ONE electric aircraft<\/a><\/strong> to Palmer Luckey, tech entrepreneur and founder of Oculus and Anduril Industries. The first unit in the United States was received in Carlsbad, California. During the process, Tomasz Patan, Jetson’s founder and chief technology officer, and Stephan D’haene, chief executive officer, personally oversaw the unpacking and pre-flight safety testing. Luckey completed ground training in less than an hour<\/strong> and was put in command to perform low altitude flights<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

Known for his role in the creation of Oculus and his leadership in the defense sector with Anduril, Palmer has demonstrated a genuine interest in individual air mobility. His involvement sends a clear message: recreational electric aviation has taken a firm step toward consolidation. <\/p>\n\n

The model delivered is the Jetson ONE Founders Edition, a limited series of 100 units worldwide. This version includes details such as leather upholstery, LED lighting, removable batteries and a digital panel with a special welcome screen. <\/p>\n\n

It also incorporates unique design elements, including red-line fairings and a numbered carbon fiber license plate.<\/p>\n\n

Expansion in the United States and Europe<\/h2>\n\n

Jetson began its journey in Poland in 2017, moved operations to Italy in 2022 and is currently moving forward with setting up its U.S. headquarters. With more than 500 registered customers, the company has new deliveries and training programs on the agenda in California and Europe, reinforcing its commitment to making the electric flight<\/a><\/strong> an accessible experience. <\/p>\n\n

The delivery to Luckey symbolizes much more than a one-time event. It represents the transition of electric personal aviation from concept to actual use.
