Both platforms are designed to offer increased capacity, efficiency and speed of installation for industrial-level power applications. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Megapack 3 and Megablock: New from Tesla<\/h2>\n\n<p>The upgraded version of the Megapack integrates 2.8-liter cells, making it possible to store up to 5 MWh per unit, up from 3.9 MWh in the previous model. The company has also redesigned the thermal system, achieving a 78% reduction in the number of connections, which simplifies maintenance and improves operational efficiency. <\/p>\n\n<p>The Megablock groups four Megapack 3 preconnected to a medium voltage transformer and distribution boards, ready to be deployed with minimal on-site assembly.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tesla.com\/es_es\/megapack\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tesla<\/a><\/strong> claims that this architecture reduces installation times by 23% and can achieve a density of 248 MWh per acre. In addition, the system is rated to operate between -40 \u00b0C and 60 \u00b0C, with a projected lifetime of 25 years and more than 10,000 charging cycles. <\/p>\n\n<p>Tesla <strong>will begin manufacturing the Megapack 3 in Houston in late 2026<\/strong>. The plant will have a production capacity of 50 GWh per year, aligning with the growing global demand for electric storage solutions and the need for a more stable grid for renewable sources such as solar and wind. <\/p>\n\n<p>Both products will feature the integration of Tesla&#8217;s energy optimization software, already deployed in an operational fleet exceeding 36 GWh worldwide.
