The installation, developed at the Ulsan shipyard in South Korea, is destined for the Trion field, operated by Australia&#8217;s Woodside. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technical capabilities of <strong>BOS 4200 cranes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>With a lifting capacity of up to 44 tons and a reach of 64 meters, the cranes can be used for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.liebherr.com\/es-int\/p\/bos4200-5391611\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.liebherr.com\/es-int\/p\/bos4200-5391611\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cranes <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.liebherr.com\/es-int\/p\/bos4200-5391611\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.liebherr.com\/es-int\/p\/bos4200-5391611\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">B<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.liebherr.com\/es-int\/p\/bos4200-5391611\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.liebherr.com\/es-int\/p\/bos4200-5391611\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">OS 4200<\/a><\/strong> cranes were selected for their reliability and adaptability in offshore operations. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/articulo\/pipeline-protection-in-offshore-platforms\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/articulo\/proteccion-de-ductos-instalaciones-offshore\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">offshore operations<\/a><\/strong>. The Litronic control system ensures precise movements, while the compact structure with A-frame cable folding system maximizes operational stability. <\/p>\n\n<p>In addition, one of the units will be equipped with a towing winch, which optimizes the minimum working radius. The impact- and moisture-resistant components are designed to withstand the salty humidity and waves characteristic of the Gulf of Mexico. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Efficient delivery from Europe to the Americas<\/h2>\n\n<p>The cranes are fully assembled at Liebherr&#8217;s plant in Rostock, Germany, allowing for expedited on-site installation. They are scheduled to arrive at the South Korean shipyard by the end of the year for assembly on the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/shell-rent-semisubmersible-platform\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/shell-alquila-plataforma-semisumergible\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">semi-submersible platform<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p>Advance logistics and pre-assembly represent a key advantage over other systems by significantly reducing integration times in the FPU.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Regional technical support for the complete life cycle<\/h2>\n\n<p>Maintenance and operational support for the cranes will be provided by Liebherr United States, with additional support from Liebherr Mexico, guaranteeing technical assistance and spare parts availability in the region.
