In the presence of President Sadyr Japarov, the underground <strong>gold mining project<\/strong> was inaugurated. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The intelligent operation of the Kumtor mine<\/h2>\n\n<p>President Sadyr Japarov mentioned that <strong>subway gold mining<\/strong> eliminates the need to excavate large amounts of waste rock, a common practice in open pit mining that creates an impact on the landscape.<\/p>\n\n<p>The president also emphasized that this method is essential for the protection of glaciers, which are considered a <strong>national heritage of Kyrgyzstan<\/strong>. With an estimated life span of 17 years, the geological reserves of this project add 147 tons of gold to the country&#8217;s balance sheet. <\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>Kumtor field<\/strong>, according to the president, has a promising future and a projected useful life of 40 to 50 years more. The company will continue with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/first-blasting-at-lapon-mining-marks-the-start-of-open-pit-production\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"264140\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">open-pit mining<\/a><\/strong> in mined areas and will complement its operations with this new <strong>subway mining<\/strong> method. This hybrid model ensures a constant flow of production for the benefit of the national economy.  <\/p>\n\n<p>In addition, the president learned about other ongoing projects, such as exploration in the<strong> Jangart area <\/strong>and the modernization of the <strong>Balykchy classification<\/strong> station.
