Against the backdrop of the Changhua surf, the offshore substation for the Taipower Phase II Offshore Wind Project<\/strong> has been installed at its final location, marking a key breakthrough in the development of the 300 MW wind farm. The substation was lifted after months of technical planning and logistical coordination. The operation combined precise maneuvers with strict safety protocols to ensure the integrity of the structure and the personnel involved. The erection was supported by Foxwell Energy, a subsidiary of Shinfox, in charge of the development contract awarded by Taipower. <\/p>\n\n

Construction of the substation began at the PetroVietnam Shipyard in Vung Tau, where the launching ceremony was held in July. From its departure, the part traveled more than 1,500 kilometers to the waters of Changhua County<\/strong>, where it was aligned and secured on the piles already installed. In the final phase of installation, the heavy lift vessel SFE Hercules<\/a><\/strong>performed the lifting and positioning with millimeter precision. <\/p>\n\n

Located about 14.7 kilometers west of Lukang, the Taipower Phase II wind farm is one of eleven projects selected by the Taiwanese government in 2018. The work of installation of foundations<\/a><\/strong> continues, with dozens of piles and jacket structures already completed, in preparation for the arrival of the wind turbines. <\/p>\n\n
