ExxonMobil Guyana has started production at Yellowtail<\/strong>, its fourth project on the Stabroek Stabroek block<\/a><\/strong>block, reinforcing its deepwater presence and adding operational capacity to the country.<\/p>\n\n

On FPSO ONE GUYANA<\/a><\/strong>a floating production, storage and offloading unit, is now operational. This vessel becomes the largest in the Stabroek block<\/strong>, with an initial capacity of 250,000 barrels of oil per day and space to store up to two million barrels. The crude oil extracted will be marketed under the name Golden Arrowhead<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n

Four developments in five years<\/h2>\n\n

With Yellowtail, ExxonMobil manages to connect four projects in just five years: Destiny, Unity, Prosperity and now ONE GUYANA. <\/p>\n\n

This speed of execution has been possible thanks to efficient coordination between the company, its partners Hess Guyana Exploration and CNOOC Petroleum Guyana, and a broad participation of Guyanese companies and workers.<\/p>\n\n

Projection to 2030<\/h2>\n\n

By the end of the decade, total production capacity in the Stabroek block is expected to reach 1.7 million barrels of oil equivalent per day. <\/p>\n\n

This growth is supported by a combination of deepwater technology, resource management and an ongoing development strategy that has at least four more projects in the pipeline.<\/p>\n\n

Local and regional impact of production at Yellowtail<\/h2>\n\n

More than 67% of the workforce in the Guyanese oil sector Guyanese oil sector<\/a><\/strong> participates in these operations, and more than 2,000 local companies are directly or indirectly linked to the project. This collaboration has generated a network of suppliers and services that strengthens the national economy. <\/p>\n\n

The early launch of Yellowtail<\/a><\/strong> implies more production and reflects the ability to execute complex developments in challenging conditions, while maintaining schedules and budgets. A breakthrough that consolidates Guyana as a key player on the global energy map. <\/p>\n\n
