This contract provides for the regular shipment of LNG for a period of ten years. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A decade of LNG supply by ADNOC Gas<\/h2>\n\n<p>The Indian company will receive the gas at the new <strong>Chhara terminal<\/strong> in the state of Gujarat, a facility within the country&#8217;s energy infrastructure. This entry point will facilitate supply to <strong>HPCL&#8217; <\/strong>s own refineries as well as <strong>urban gas distribution<\/strong><em>(CGD<\/em>) <strong>networks<\/strong> and other industrial customers. <\/p>\n\n<p>The alliance with <em>ADNOC Gas<\/em> enhances India&#8217;s energy security in a global context marked by price volatility and geopolitical instability. Through this commitment, HPCL diversifies its contract portfolio, merging short- and long-term agreements that allow it to respond more agilely to domestic demand. <\/p>\n\n<p>This agreement is also part of India&#8217;s energy transition roadmap, which seeks to improve the <strong>share of gas<\/strong> in its total energy mix.
