These tests were conducted in a safe environment in Austria, and <strong>confirmed that the eCopter can fly autonomously<\/strong> and stably without the need to be connected. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A new scenario after the free flight of the eCopter<\/h2>\n\n<p>Since its inception in 2019, FlyNow has maintained a clear vision: to develop <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/commercial-airplanes-with-integrated-fuselage\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/aviones-comerciales-con-fuselaje-integrado\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">modular, efficient and sustainable<\/a><\/strong>, efficient and sustainable, capable of operating safely in densely populated cities.  <\/p>\n\n<p>After years of validations with captive flights at Salzburg Airport, the airline has initiated <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/the-airplane-vertiia-completes-first-free-flight\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/el-avion-vertiia-completa-primer-vuelo-libre\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">free flights<\/a><\/strong> in order to collect operational data under real-world conditions and prepare its platform for more demanding certification.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Efficiency-oriented technology<\/h2>\n\n<p>Recent flights of the eCopter have not only demonstrated stability and autonomous control, but also evidenced the low acoustic impact of the system: 55 dB(A) at 150 meters altitude, similar to the noise of a household appliance.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Energy efficiency translates into a consumption of 30 kWh per 100 km driven, placing FlyNow in a highly competitive category compared to other proposals in the market.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">On the road to commercial operation<\/h2>\n\n<p>The cargo version of the eCopter is already aiming for SAIL IV certification. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eudroneport.com\/es\/blog\/categoria-especifica\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/eudroneport.com\/es\/blog\/categoria-especifica\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">SAIL IV certification<\/a><\/strong>certification, enabling its use for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/maersk-modernizes-fleet-with-smart-shipping-and-next-generation-iot-connectivity\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/maersk-y-su-flota-con-envios-inteligentes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">logistic transport<\/a><\/strong>. This evolution will allow it to carry up to 200 kg, including standard Europallets. FlyNow&#8217;s plan <strong>is to reach one million kilometers traveled in cargo mode<\/strong> and then open the way to passenger operations, projected for 2027.  <\/p>\n\n<p>FlyNow&#8217;s technical breakthrough is part of a broader approach led by the alliance <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.salaam.earth\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.salaam.earth\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">SALAAM.earth<\/a><\/strong>alliance, formed with Skyroads and other international partners. This coalition promotes the automation of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/en\/news\/hyperian-accelerates-development-of-its-hyperliner-cargo-aircraft-to-exceed-mach-10\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/inspenet.com\/noticias\/capacidad-y-velocidad-del-hyperliner-cargo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">air transport<\/a><\/strong> through a cyber-mechanical architecture that fuses secure systems with artificial intelligence, laying the foundation for a sustainable and scalable urban air infrastructure. <\/p>\n\n<p>With a modular design that simplifies production and reduces costs up to tenfold compared to other solutions, the eCopter seeks to position itself as an affordable service.
